Sheffield Train Bunk

Sheffield activists celebrated election day by taking a 90% for 90% action (see AU75), because we need a 90% reduction in C02 emmisions to avert global climate chaos, we demanded a 90% reduction in public transport fares.

Armed with leaflets, extra 90% cards tasty vegan chocolate and fruit cake the group boarded the Manchester train. As the train pulled out passengers were supplied with the goodies while two people went to talk to the conductor. He was pleasant but decided he would have to throw them off. He would have offered a deal, perhaps half the total money - some passengers even offered to help us pay for this, but we stuck to our principles.
