GM Free Wales

A public rally turned trashing on July 14th. 150-200 people gathered at the Aventis T25 fodder maize trial at Brick Hurst Farm, Sealand, Flintshire, the only remaining GM crop trial in Wales.

Despite a large police presence and a force helicopter around 40 people jumped barriers to get into the field and began pulling up the crop. Six people were arrested and a man filming for undercurrents needed hospital treatment after security guards threw him over a fence.
