McDonalds Action

McDonalds opened in Bangor on 20th November and were greeted by about 25 people, mostly from Gwynedd and Mon Earth First! They gave away free veggie burgers and bilingual leaflets. Attempts to get up on the roof failed due to the presence of fat workmen. One man was arrested for returning McDollars own rubbish to them, but he was released minutes later. Protesters were there for 5 hours and management were not happy bunnies. This is the first of many actions that will be held until McDollars leaves town!
