On April Fool’s Day a laugh-in took place at the naval base near Faslane Peace Camp, Helensburgh, Scotland. Around 100 people in fancy dress laughed at workers on their way into the base, as well as doing April Fool actions like ‘cutting’ the fence with plastic tools. The police even joined in, telling campers that the base was moving to America, and asking if the peace camp would follow!
