Okasional Cafe

The OKasional Cafe no. 6, Manchester, closed after two months. The cafe got off to a slow start, with 'shock horror' negotiations with the owner. Through a mix of self-interest and being a Kurdish Communist who "agrees with our ideals", he gave it to us for the two months we asked for, and possibly longer. The cafe hosted a mix of low-key parties, workshops, discussions and meetings, displays, art exhibitions, music, movies, and of course the usual food and teas by donation and was also supported by @OK pirate radio. Just wait and see where they resurface next...
