Waste Disposal Campaign

Residents of Gartocher Terrace in Glasgow are fighting to stop businessman William Combe putting a waste disposal site in their street. Combe has a £180,000 contract with Glasgow City Council. Over the last few months, the campaign has involved police collaboration with Combe and the harassment of residents. Residents have fought back vigorously, blockading Combe’s site on more than one occasion. The campaign would welcome help from anyone who is interested.
