Circus King Thugs

On 27th October 7 people from Sheffield protested outside the gates of Circus King, which uses animals. Sheffield has placed a ban on animal circuses within its city limits. After about an hour one member of the group was on his own when a car sped towards him across a grass verge. The driver got out and threatened the person he had tried to run over. All of this was filmed.

As the protesters walked up the road three masked men ran up behind them and threw a bucket of disinfectant over them. Several members of the group then sustained blows to the head. The video camera was seized thus destroying any evidence against the attackers. Undeterred, protesters returned to picket the next day.
