SOS From The Glen

The long running campaign against the road being built through the Glen of the Downs in Ireland finally seems to be coming to a conclusion.

The case will be heard by the Supreme Court on October 19th. Since there is hardly any chance of winning the case it is expected that tree felling and eviction will begin within hours of the hearing and so people are desperately needed around this time. The Glen of the Downs Tree Vigil is located on the N11 (main road from Dublin to Wexford) between the towns Bray and Greystones in County Wicklow. It is indicated on every road map, is only 15 miles from Dublin and so can be found easily.
