Car Park Crane Occupied

Five people hit the site of a new multi-storey car park in Leeds city centre earlier this month. Three handed out leaflets to workers and passers by while the other two climbed a crane to hang a banner and prevent concrete being poured. Work was stopped for about an hour. Aside from a few threats workers were interested and agreed about the stupidity of the council's planning department.

This action was partly planned as an affinity group building exercise and was deemed successful at this role.
