Green Field Housing Stuff

URGENT!, the Urban Regeneration and Greenfield Network which campaigns against greenfield housing developments, is holding a one day conference and an action in Oxford in July.

The conference is to be held on the 10th with a view to bringing together various local anti-greenfield housing groups. Many of these groups are comprised of otherwise non-politically active local residents who are turning to Direct Action. The evening will see a party with local bands playing. Earth First!ers and those of a similar persuasion are wanted, and their attendance can be subsidised.

Sunday will see a Steering Group meeting at which EF! types are also welcome to push the radical agenda, before a day of Direct Action on the issue of urban regeneration and greenfield development, on Monday.
