North Devon Wildlife Site Threat

A beautiful wildlife site on the estuary of the Taw/ Torridge rivers has recently come under attack by cowboy developers, after local groups have been fighting too keep it safe for over 30 years. The area along the Tarka Trail famous for its otters, has been up for sale for £1Million when it got sold for a tenth of its value to North Devon Asbestos. They are now planning to cover it with 400,000 tons of aggregate to turn it into an illegal waste tip. Local people need support to save this scenic spot teeming with rare plants and wildlife. Anybody wanting to give a hand in setting up a camp over the summer?
