2nd Kids Moot Held In Wales

Following the success of the first Kids’ Moot, another was held in Wales last month: a weekend gathering of kids, parents and friends.

Lots of different activities - storytelling, trampolining & nature walks among them - took place in a very unstructured way. The idea is to provide some new experiences for the kids, and a chance for them to spend time with each other. For their parents, it can be a bit of a break, and an opportunity to discuss their activism, home education, health issues, other projects, whatever...All ages are welcome, and non-parents welcome to come along and:

• make friends with some inspirational rad young people (and their parents are pretty cool too! )

• support frazzled activist parents by taking on some of the eg, cooking, nappy-changing etc.

• read stories, play games

• put on a workshop - as informal as you like - suitable for (mostly) under-7s

The 3rd Moot is likely to take place on the 22nd/23rd May. The venue should include some indoor sleeping space, camping and parking for live-in vehicles. The food’s done on a communal basis.
