Felling Stopped
On the 27th of March, Manchester Airport began felling trees in Moss wood, but were stopped by residents of the camp in near by Arthurs Wood. A new camp was then set up to guard against future felling.
The trees in question will prevent the use of radar for the airport's second runway if left to stand.
A vegan camp has also been set up, and the first camp, which has been involved in legal proceedings to try to maintain possession, is now safe from eviction untill August when their case goes to the house of Lords.
