The next European Summit will be held in Cardiff from June 14th to 16th. Reclaim Europe! is an umbrella organisation for the co-ordination of environmental, human and animal liberation campaigns and events during the summit. 2-3000 people turned up to encircle the Ministry of "Defence" against the bombing of Iraq and about 500 people took over Whitehall for a couple of hours. Nine arrests were made. On Monday 16th a blockade took place at the north London Joint Rapid Deployment Force HQ, where troops are preparing for possible conflict.
An effigy of Judge Selwood, the man who sentenced three editors of Green Anarchist (GA) to jail recently, was burnt outside Portsmouth Crown Court.
