Climate Criminals

In December Londoners were treated to a radio message about the 'Climate Change Criminals'. The 2 minute pirate piece was broadcast over the airwaves of Capital Radio in areas all over Central and Greater London. In the style of a film commercial, with a low growly narrator and plenty of screaming the message drew attention to the recent Kyoto conference on Global Warming. It went something like this: "They came from behind closed doors. Their mission; to pull off the most daring scam since the Wall Street crash. Destination: Kyoto. [The freedom to drive is not negotiable.] The stakes were high. Their profits or our future. [Saving the planet costs jobs.] They're the Climate Change Criminals. [Hey, Mr politician if you clamp down on oil use, we'll pull the plug on your campaign funds.] The fat cats of the oil industry and their corrupted scientists. [Global warming is a lie.] Working behind your back, to steal your future, to make sure that your children, are well and truly stuffed. Turning up the heat on the planet, double glazing the greenhouse effect, putting a full stop at the end of planet earth while they stuff their wallets making sure they'll be the last to suffer. You can stop the climate change madness, shop the climate change criminals, make your voice heard, make your voice heard...."
