- An Oxford student group raised eyebrows by staging a mock marriage outside the University's Earth Science building. Worried that they might actually be quite green - they're also doing research into life on the deep sea bed and global warming - protestors were soon reassured when they arrived and saw the amount of Shell sponsorship. The banner featured a big heart with "Earth Sciences 4 Oil-Wedded to Climate Change"
