Teddy Bear Camp

The camp was set up in May 96, against the proposed ‘brown route' which will go over a toxic landfill site, through 2 SSSI’s, a 200 year old Beech plantation called Teddy Bear Wood and on archeologically rich Ridgeway amongst other things.

The land was compulsorily purchased at the beginning of July and contracts are now being put up for tender. There are plans for a new camp. Contact Eric c/o 20d Franklin Road, Weymouth, Dorset. Camp tel: (0468) 221 454
