The Holtsfield result in the House of Lords last month, in which some tenants won their case against eviction, was great as an initial victory but was limited as the developer, Elitestone Ltd, has served notices to quit on further tenants. Tim Jones will have to pay 50,000 court costs before eviction proceedings can go ahead, but there are three chalets from the last round of attempted evictions which can be repossessed any time and heavies have been seen at Elitestone looking at maps.
