ALF Activities

During the early hours of March 9th Animal Liberation Front activists broke into battery units belonging to 'Mr Welsh Egg' in Somerset where cages were opened and 111 hens were liberated from their battery cages to be taken to new homes. The same farm has been raided by the ALF on several occasions over the last few years, the last being in September 1996 when 108 hens were rescued.
