Lyminge Forest

The Rank organisation still plan to construct an ‘upmarket holiday village’ affecting over 1000 acres of land in the Lyminge Forest in Kent. It will include over 850 buildings, golf course, shopping centre and sports club. Although they have not announced the date that work will start it looks likely that it is to be sometime this summer. This is a big site to defend and camps need establishing now if people are to effectively resist construction. Rank have already hinted that they will pull out of the project if a concerted campaign is launched against them.
