Green Anarchists In Court... Again!

Alleged editors of the UK’s only primitivist paper, Green Anarchist, are appearing from 2pm Thursday 8th August at Portsmouth Magistrates court for their committal hearing. They are charged with incitement to cause criminal damage by publication and if found guilty will almost certainly be sent to jail.

This police raid of radical greens is the thin end of the. wedge. The state does not draw lines between particular groups or types of actions, they want to criminalise direct action across the board. To do this the conspiracy and incitement laws are far more effective than the CJA, not least because they can try and charge anyone that writes about, or is associated with, a breach of the law as if they were the one that actually committed it.

There will be a Defendants Campaign set up, and a meeting to help form it will be at the McLibel Fair, Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London on Saturday 28th September.
