More problems with Shell - this time in Turkey. By their own admission they have been polluting the water supply to the Kurdish city of Diyarbakir for over 30 years. Meanwhile 19 Ogoni are still being held in Nigerian police cells on the same charges as the nine Ogoni activists that have already been murdered. There will be a debate on oil in Nigeria at the Royal Geographical Society in London on April 15th (tickets £5) with a speaker from Shell. There is also the Shell AGM in London on May 15th.
