Reclaim The Land

A small reclaim the land action took place at York on the 10th of March, at an area of woodland which has just received planning permission to become a shopping centre, selling discount factory outlet goods to consumers who will be expected to drive from up to 70 miles away just to get there!

There will be a much larger land occupation in York from the 5th to the 7th May, to coincide with the action in London. It will be at one of the 5 sites around the ring road which have had planning permission pushed through for traffic inducing ‘development’ projects in the last few months.
