The Trial of the Motorcar

On Sat 9th March, at midday, York EF! and the New Luddites will be putting the motor car on trial at Cliffords Tower, York. This is where the first fourteen Luddites were hung for the crime of machine breaking in 1812. People are needed to testify for and against the motorcar and be part of a mass jury to decide the machines fate. For more info on the Luddites contact York LEAF. On March 10th, there will be a Reclaim the Land spring eco-picnic on a piece of woodland outside York. The land is under threat of development.
