Residents Against The M74

“Charley Gordon - you’ve got our lungs, now take our hearts.” So cried 15 women residents against the M74 - proposed 10 lane motorway in Glasgow. “Charley Babe” is the Scottish roads and Transport Minister and on February 14th, during an office occupation, he was serenaded with Robson and Jerome songs! Campaigners are currently giving presentations around the community, building their support.

The community is also setting up a ‘Jock about army rebellion’ - a tartan clad posse getting out to other anti road actions, building links between campaigners in the North and South. Funky actions against the M74 are set for April. 0141 424 1797. 0141 423 0278.
