Cascadia Rising!

Actions to stop the logging of old growth forest in the Cascade Mountains, north west USA continue. An injunction preventing the logging has been lifted. The Forestry Service placed a locked gate across the access road to prevent environmentalists from entering the area. Activists used the gate as a full-scale barricade with reinforced lock-on points as well as stockades, concrete drums and trenches. The Cascadia Free State was born!
