Selar On Alert

The tree village at Selar Farm Nature Reserve - South Wales - continues to thwart the proposed 880 acre opencast mine. With 17 acres of Oak Woodland walkways and tree houses, Celtic Energy must evict to start work.

January 29th saw an illegal 48hr’s eviction notice served, but this was a false alarm. Tip Offs and enemy activity, plus workers hired from March 1st - St David’s day - indicate imminent eviction. Equipment and people needed now.

The proposed opencast at Swiss Valley (Llanelli), and near Blaenau Ffestiniog have been turned down; and the site at Tir Dafydd is at public enquiry.
