Residents Against The M74

The campaign continues against the ten lane M74 in Glasgow. A three day action was planned along the site of the M74 to coincide with the Burns Supper. The community came out to a celidh in the street, with flags and drums. Police came out on their horses, causing greater chaos. As the streets were cleared, people occupied a pedestrian crossing until the power was cut. moving to the next one each time. There have been no arrests throughout the campaign.
