No Compromise In Defence Of The Wolf

Friends of the Wolf (FoW) are campaigning to stop state sponsored murder of wolves in Canada. The Yukon Territorial Government has killed 132 wolves since 1993 and the wolf population has fallen from 200 to 38. Each year 40 wolves are killed. Unless International pressure is put on Canada, there will be no wolves left in the Yukon. FoW are now out stopping the cull using direct action. They use snow mobiles to put themselves between the guns and the wolves.

On January 23rd, 15 people occupied the Canadian tourist office in London. They called for the Canadian Government to stop the slaughter. Contact FoW via Reclaim the Streets: 0171 281 4621.
