Free Leonard Peltier!
Leonard Peltier is a Chippewa/Lakota native American who was a leading activist in the American Indian Movement (AIM). In 1975 he was framed for the murder of two FBI agents. Leonard is still doing time. His trial was filled with manufactured evidence, intimidated witnesses and lies. The FBI withheld evidence that proved his innocence, and the prosecutor has since said the government doesn’t know who killed the agents. February 6thmarks the 20th anniversary of his capture.
Leonard's supporters in the USA are organising a day of action on February 6thtargeting the FBI. They are asking supporters to protest at US embassies and consulates.
