Wells Road

Twelve people opposing the Wells 'Relief' Road were arrested at an action on the site in September for Aggravated Trespass. Their case was due to be heard on 23 October, but has now been postponed until January, probably in order to dissuade them from protesting further until their cases get dropped. Due to the number of people now on bail, extra help is urgently needed. Also, an eviction order on the campaign squat has been thrown out by the High Court as the County Council failed in its duty to rehouse the children living there.
