The campaign against the A299 at Thanet Way, Kent, continues despite increased police attention and arrests. One campaigner, Iggy, is now on remand and is soon due for sentencing with the prospect of being behind bars in the near future. Six people arrested at the mass trespass in July will go on trial at Canterbury Magistrates on Dec. 4th - 6th. They were arrested for conspiring to rave under section 63 CJA. Bail conditions put on these people have no relevance to their charge. There are 21 police witnesses? Where from?! A demonstration is planned for November 3 in support of Iggy.
