France has detonated its third nuke in the Pacific, sparking more protests around the world. In Britain hundreds of protesters demonstrated at Chequers during a date between Major and Chirac. 12 arrests were made as some protesters broke through security to enter the gardens. As a result of the meeting, Major has pledged his support to French Nuke testing and is showing off that France and Britain have entered into Nuke cooperation and a new “entente cordial”.
