The battle against the proposed Celtic Energy Opencast Site at Cwmgwrach, South Wales looks like dragging on over the winter. An eviction threat still exists under ‘sole possession order’ granted to Celtic Energy in May. This is in direct defiance of the Criminal Law Act of 1977. Tree sitters are still desperately needed. The biggest threat at the moment is winter itself as Selar farm is half way up a mountain, but there are plans for alternative energy creation under way.
