Over the last 30 years, Shell’s oil extraction in the Niger Delta area of West Africa has devastated the ancestral lands of the Ogoni Tribe. The Nigerian military dictatorship which controls this region relies on Shell oil for almost half of its foreign exchange income, yet, Shell have washed their hands of all responsibility for the carnage.
