Critical Park

Activists from Lancaster Critical Mass have found a new target! Angered at the opening last month of over 100 new car parking places, a number of cyclists and pedestrians pushed past the security guards at the opening ceremony and occupied the car park. The action was a success, with just 16 bikes they managed to seriously worry the management and mess up the mayor's speech. Other city car parks are intended for regular occupations to highlight the fact that more car parks lead to more cars entering towns and cities.
