Brynhenllys, In Their Faces

Celtic Energy, - once British Coal Opencast's project to quarry South Wales, has been spannered by squatting the Brynhenllys site. When Celtic Energy raise their heads, campaigners are there getting in their faces.

An open day was trashed. Activists (mostly local) contradicted their boast of 'benefiting' people and environment. Councillors and the headmaster of nearby Penrhos Primary School then received £1000 for allowing opencast to extend almost to the school. He's taking the piss, kids are already suffering from asthma. The point was made when protesters set up walkways in the gym! Pigs were called against those they 'serve and protect'. No arrests, more actions soon. Usual wish list, especially people.
