Wells Relief Road

Regular actions have been continuing against the Wells Relief road which will cut through the grounds of a local school. An en route squat has been evicted but another has been set up in a building whose garden lies in the proposed route. A tree in the path of the road has been saved through a decision to alter the proposed route after threatened actions. Meanwhile, the department of Health and Safety have confirmed that a building hastily demolished to make way for the road, contained asbestos.
