Sundancers Under Armed Siege

In Shuswap territory in Canada a sacred sundance and burial site is being occupied by Native Americans. This land, and much of Canada has never been surrendered by treaty. As of August 27th all communication with the Shuswap camp has been cut and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have surrounded the area with armed SWAT teams & helicopters. The sundancers have always maintained that they want a peaceful settlement to the dispute, but they have also stressed that they will defend the site to the point of being "removed in body bags".

Elsewhere in Canada, Mohawk warriors have seized a government building to protest about continued violations of the sovereignty of the indigenous peoples and in solidarity with the sundancers. At the time of writing they have barricaded themselves into the building, raised the Mohawk warrior flag and declared the building "closed for ever"!

One Canadian cop claimed "Brits don't give a shit about dancing prairie niggers" . Prove him wrong, there are Canadian government buildings, tourist offices etc. near all of us ... act now! For more info contact 0181 749 7935.
