Our Land In Their Hands

The Land Is Ours together with Friends Of The Earth, The Green Party and Friends, Families and Travellers’ Support Group have just launched a competition to uncover the very best and the very worst landowners in the country. They are asking for nominations from all over Britain explaining just how considerate or how thoughtless they can be. To enter send in a reasonably full account of the landowners’ activities, about 500 words, along with a suitably entertaining prize suggestion. Anonymity is guaranteed although a contact phone number is needed in case further details are required.

The closing date for all nominations is November 1st 1995 and winners will be invited to collect their imaginative prizes at a ceremony on January 2nd. If they don’t turn up on the day prizes will be delivered later, in person, by several hundred campaigners for The Land Is Ours!!!
