N-Day, No Car Day

9 activists from Earth First! and the Pedestrian Liberation Front joined the Glasgow Citroen Dealerships N-Registration party at 24:00 hrs. on Monday 31 July, heralding the car free future with ‘HAVE A CAR FREE N DAY’, ‘DEATH MACHINES AHEAD’ banner drops and a special personal appearance by Jacques ‘nucleaire-attacque’ Chirac. The band stopped playing, the wine stopped flowing and the sad car buying punters were highly embarrassed. Despite the dealership being opposite a cop shop the plods took 15 minutes to show up.
