Derby By-Pass

The A564 is a 15-mile road, linking the M1 and M6. As usual the most destructive route possible has been chosen, taking in archeological sites and badger sets. Actions have occurred, but a camp has not yet been set up ... maybe in the summer. In the mean time digger diving has been a doddle, with Reliance Security been pretty unwilling to climb onto machinery and get oil on their clothes! Work has even managed to be stopped with just 2 protesters! Avery successful night action held up work for two hours while contractors tried to put in a railway bridge. Since they could only close the railway for 4 hours they where buggered up nicely!
