It’s all happening down at the A30 protest camp near Exeter. A camp consisting of benders, defences and a tree house village has been constructed at the Fairmile site and other camps along the route of the proposed road are being built. This place has to be seen to be believed! Around 250 people attended a Beltane gathering at the beginning of May and areas of the route are now being reclaimed by tree planting and possibly a new pond to replace one that was destroyed. Get down there and check it out / learn tree climbing / help plant vegetables. The Fairmile Camp is off the A30, 8 miles east of Exeter - head up past the church to the camp and introduce yourself.
