No A55 Campaign

The A55 Euroroute to Dublin across North Wales is approaching one of its most needless and destructive stages. The final stage across Ynys Mon (Anglesey) will run parallel to the already existing A5 road.

No plans have been made to invest in the railway which goes right into the port of Holyhead. Environmentalists in North Wales have been campaigning for transport investment that serves the needs of the local communities and not those of motorists.
