Corporates Watched

July saw the first Corporate Watch (CW) Gathering (minutes available from Oxford EF!). CW aims to collate public-domain information on companies and TNCs with a view to more informed campaigning on social and environmental issues. i.e. a research wing for Earth First!? It was felt that there was a need for better links between researchers and activists, and also to reach out to the workers and unions of the corporations and industries involved. There is currently a heavy anti roads bias it is hoped that this will broaden out as more people get on the contact list. If you have a particular beef against some commercial concern or other then get involved.
