Wymondham Bypass Action

If you feel like lunching out, we suggest doing it at Wymondham, near Norwich.

Norwich EF! have launched a lunch-out challenge across the country for the person who can stay up their 110 foot pile-driver the longest. The current record is 45 hours. Anyway, the cost of an hours inactivity up where the air is clear...£1000.

Meanwhile, actions continue several days a week, but WE NEED PEOPLE as there are very few permanent at the camp. Illegal eviction from the disused railway line went ahead and the camp had to move a couple of hundred yards along the line, but it is now permanent.

In the last 3 weeks, the pile-driver has been occupied almost constantly. Campers are suing the DoT for the illegal eviction - with Legal Aid! Remember, this is John Macgregor's back yard - we disrupted a local opening ceremony 4 days before the London rooftop occupation.

Lastly, the police are having nothing to do with the c so there has been only 1 arrest since January.
