Skye Rising - Bank Of America, London

The Bank of America, financiers of the Skye Bridge and Roads Project, are also funding a number of other privatised road and bridge building projects in the UK, Greece, Hungary and Portugal.

EF! have launched the Bank America Alert Campaign, to expose them for the forest-felling, otter-hating corporate bastards they are.

On 14th February over 30 EF! activists occupied their offices for several hours, blockading their main entrance and running amok on their upper floors, including the trading rooms. For some reason best known to the police, three fire engines were called out to remove two bike D-locks.

Three activists were assaulted, one activist was dragged out of a lift by her hair by the police officer, and another was forcibly strip searched for giving his name as Skye Bridge. There were five arrests and only one was charged, for attempted theft.
