Notts EF! In Success Scandal

The Leadenham Bypass, Near Lincoln got planning permission on February 14th and the DoT attempted to start work trashing a semi-ancient wood and hedges.

Nottingham EF! have been involved setting up a bender camp in the woods. Work has stopped pending a change of route - the locals have got the route they wanted, and the beautiful woodland is saved! The DoT backed down!!
