Well, Road Alert! , recently formed by several people from Twyford Down Alert!, the information service for the actions at Twyford, are here to serve you!

Formed as the direct-action sister organisation of ALARM UK (the Alliance Against Roadbuilding), RA! is the national information network for peaceful direct action against road building. We’re here to help you get in contact with and involved in already active campaigns, help you organise a post-public-inquiry roads campaign, set up camp, prepare for direct action, publicise your actions/campaign, and we’ll always give helpful, experienced advice.

There are regular mailings to a large database of activists so please get in touch if you want to either add your name to it or want to put stuff in the mail-out.

We have an established office in Southampton, and are preparing a briefing pack for anyone wishing to start a campaign of peaceful action against a road scheme.
