A Bunch Of Bankers

There has been a flurry of discontented “customers” in our high streets lately. Actions have occurred since you last heard from us in Norwich, Warwick, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Lancaster among others, as well as a co-ordinated day of action. In York an elderly woman who had been a customer for 17 years ranted at the manager, and food was provided for the occupiers by complete strangers, in Manchester 3 branches of Midland were visited in 2 hours, is this a new record?

On another occasion (Lloyds), they were forcibly removed from the bank after a five hour shut-down. In Leeds the Midland General Manager came into the bank in an attempt to cut a deal. The branch staff said that it was the first time they had ever seen him. After the National Gathering the campaign seems to be going from strength to strength. With more actions and meetings with men in suits pending, who knows what might occur.
